This movie takes place about half a year after the events in Caravan of Courage. Cindel and Mace have grown quite hard in that half year, and Wicket (Cindel's Ewok friend) learned to speak English quite well. The father of Mace and Cindel has even had some extensive plastic surgery (or maybe it's the Ewok food...I guess we'll never know).
As the family prepares to leave Endor, the Ewok village is attacked by nasty creatures with laserguns! Mom dies, Mace dies, Daddy dies, leaving young Cindel in the hands of the marauders, together with the still alive half of the Ewoks. (This all happens in the first five minutes of the movie, leaving behind, in my humble opinion, a deep understanding of life and death for all the children who watch this).
Wicket and Cindel escape and after some time, with a little help of some creature, find a house hidden deep in the forest. There's an old man living there, called Noah. Noah and Teek (the creature) have crashed on Endor too and have been trying to leave ever since. After Cindel is abducted, Noah (who's grown quite fond of Cindel and Wicket, in a fatherly way), decides to help them out and sets out to free Cindel and the Ewoks with Wicket and Teek.
This sequel to Caravan of Courage is somewhat darker than it's predecessor, in that it has more death and despair. On the other hand, Teek adds a bit of slapstick.
It only has one "Spaaaaaayzzkwuuuuzaah! Kwêêêêêsszzzj!"
Therefor, just a 6/10.
