Well, it's nice yess but veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy slow! I think especially the first half hour was boring and not necessary, but then it is nice. The slowness added to the minimalist and trancy soundtrack actually creates a nice strange dreamy atmosphere, I liked that yess
But overall, although it is a very good movie I think, I expected a tinny bit more out of it!

ah slowness is a part of tarkovsky i guess,dunno much cus the only movie i've seen of tark is Katok i skripka and that one was amazing! i have another 4 movies of his which i have to see yet! thanks for this chrisy.

Solaris is also the first one I see from him
I know this director made really slow movie. And top of that they are generally very long. So I think you have to be in a special mood for them. But think it's quite good yess
The next one I want to see from him is Stalker
Also looks very good!

There are two kinds of slow, I think...Solaris is the good kind of slow yess

I liked the movie a lot, really nice ambience and great music/sounds Happy2

this movie actually haunted me for a while after, I even had a really weird dream about it Suspect
I loooove when I have this with movies Very Happy

So I increase my rating from 7.5 to 8.5
It is more than good yess
