Waking Ned is a very, very, very sweet story about a tiny village in Ireland, where someone wins the jackpot of the lottery. No one knows who it is though and Jackie and his friend Michael (two elderly friends) try very hard to find out who is the winner. After buying lots of rounds in the local pub and throwing a party, they deduce their list of possible winners to only one person. Their friend Ned.
Jackie goes to see Ned, but finds him dead, clutching his lottery ticket in his hand. That night Jackie has a dream about Ned and comes up with a plan to cash in the money, despite Ned being dead.

The acting is SOLID, the plot has a few nice twists to it and the dark humour used throughout the film make it a must see for...well...everbody

Oh I so love this movie, seen it 300 times already! Showed it to my family and friends, they all loved it as well!

The actors, the humour, the location it's all great! This IS a must see!
