Just watched Shoot 'Em Up and this is one far out movie! Don't expect character development, don't expect a multi-layered story with unexpected plot twists, but DO expect awesome over-the-top, unbelievable action sequences and completely unrealistic ways to kill people with guns! Mind, the over-the-top and unrealistic aspects are intended that way (at least, that's my opinion) and are, in this case, a very good thing

The movie starts out with Mr. Smith sitting at a bus stop, eating a carrot. A pregnant woman struggles by and is followed in a short while by a man intent on killing her. Mr. Smith sighs, gets up, follows the man and woman, kills the man (and almost all the other men that follow) and helps deliver the baby, while keeping on firing at the men streaming into the building. The mother of the child is killed in the process of fleeing the building and Mr. Smith takes the baby along, since the men are obviously after the baby, not after the mother.

These wonderfull first 2 minutes of the movie set the pace for the entire film, with lots and lots of shootouts, extremely fresh escapes and lots of action packed violence to top it all off

8.5/10!

If you're not so much into the testosterone thing, it might be better to skip this movie and go watch some girl-flick
