Very good yakuza-film by the grandmaster of Japanese action!

A clan of yakuza is sent away to settle some dispute, but turn out to be set up by other yakuza. The main character (played by Kitano) waits out the storm and plans his revenge from a beach house, where he meets a woman which he develops a curious relationship with. The typical bleak thoughts of the earlier Kitano movies is present throughout the film, what use is life anyway? A must-see!
