Great vampire film! Really gives the vampire genre what the 2004 remake of DotD did for zombies.

After an Alaskan town is plunged into darkness for a month, it is attacked by a bloodthirsty gang of vampires. Josh Harnett plays an admirable vampire hunter, only the end is (imho) a wtf moment. Why the romantic bullshit, but then again romantics smantics Smile

Well...

I finally did.

The atmosphere is nice, and the angle of a night that lasts for 30 days is quite original...

What I think lacked the most was ANY explanation of what the creatures were exactly...I mean, sure, they're vampires alright...Or are they? They just show up and start killing people, nothing wrong with that, don't misunderstand me, but a little background story would've been nice...

All in all...I think I would rate it a 7/10, mainly because it's nice and gory Happy2
