This movie is awesome yess

It's funny, joyfull, original, crazy and highly entertaining! Visually: perfect! Editing: perfect. A totally unrealistic story but sooo much fun. And although it is japanese, Vinnie Jones from Snatch plays in it and adds to the punchy atmosphere of the movie. A little jewell this movie, I can only recommend you to watch it, it is for sure a must see, one of the most original movies I have seen latelly
Japanese comedy at its very best!

LOVED it!

imho best described as the Japanese 'Magnolia'

although the humor will be a bit hard to get for some
and the story is weird to say the least
this is one to watch

I didn't really see the similarities with Magnolia but yes it's great yess

5 interlocking stories of varying degrees of surreality with various intersecting characters. Sort of like Magnolia, except Japanese and therefore infinitely cooler Wink

Seen that way, ok, but the genre is totally different

so?? :p

the humor is very similar and even some of the actors are the same

O, yes, I still need to find this one, but you said you could only find torrents of the series, or did you find it since?
I will look for it

When I watched Survive Style 5+, I thought the actor with the long hair looked very familiar and actually I saw other movies with him: Funky Forest and The Taste of Tea for instance (did you see these one btw?). He Also plays in Last Life in the Universe and Electric Dragon 80.000 V
Finally I can recognise a japanese actor, that never happened to me before Very Happy
