But think indeed they are too big, the menu should have the size of the logo in total or a bit bigger)

I like the idea of the cinema roll, that's great yess

But maybe the blue could be darker! and it contrasts too much with the logo

Contrasts too much with the logo? Try changing the background color of the logo to the gray of the site, think that'll solve it Happy2

Yes but I dont think we should do that, then the colors of the letters of the logo wont be as bright
I dont think it will look as nice, and I dont know how to do this Razz

+ I think a darker blue on the cinema roll will contrast better overall with thel forum. But that is just my opinion Smile

I can change the black easily enough...and add something like a dropshadow or something...but it's Toffetomas' work, so I won't change anything without his permission Happy2

Another option, maybe would be to have the cinema roll in black, this we could also try

I already tried a black cinemaroll, but it sucks...I chose blue to let it fade into the background a bit, it's not what the button is about...

The blue will get darker, but not too dark, because the whole point of a button is that you can read what it's for Happy2

Note that if we can't come up with something of our own, we can also ask for help
The Host ForumActif is proposing a free service for this, we just have to say what we want so for example a cinema roll for the menu and they come up with some stuff. So it wont be totally ours but still unic cause it will made just for our forum. Cause the one that I put now for instance is coming from another forum (it is a standard they propose)

Well, there's nothing wrong with the blue itself, but I have to cross my eyes to read it properly on that shade of grey...there's a bit too little contrast between the two, at least, on my screen that is...
