A gentleman thief sets out to free a princess he's fallen in love with and to uncover a count who's making forged money.

I saw this one when I was 8 or 9 and when I returned to the movie rental a few months later, only being able to remember that a car drove up a cliff, that Lupin got shot (and that he was called Arsene Lupin) and having a vague recollection of the cover, the guy working there didn't have a clue as to what movie it was...

And after very long years, during which I often remembered watching the movie with a certain fondness, Deempje turned out to have it!!! And even better: I could borrow it!

So I just finished watching it, it's as great as I remember it to be!

8/10 !
