| Nuit et brouillard (Night and Fog) From Alain Resnais IMDBThe French ones will for sure remember this one cause it was (not sure if it still is) played at school when we were 12 or something. It is very good but very difficult to watch, I remember some kids running to the toilet to vomit now that was fun But well, a necessary viewing - Quote :
- One of the most vivid depictions of the horrors of Nazi Concentration Camps. Filmed in 1955 at several concentration camps in Poland, the film combines new color and black and white footage with black and white newsreels, footage shot by the victorious allies, and stills, to tell the story not only of the camps, but to portray the horror of man's brutal inhumanity

Funny, I always wondered if other countries also showed this movie in schools. It really had a strong impact on me and most people in France remember when they saw it in class. Saw it once when I was 12, then again not so long ago, and just the beginning and the music.... all the emotions came back, I really think everybody should watch it - Kryll wrote:
