Same director as Astro Boy for those of you remember that cartoon or Galaxy Express 999 (I liked this one as a child ). I recognised right away the style.
Dont expect it to be a remake of Fritz Lang's masterpiece. Although some things are similar (the city, the rebelion, the super being...) the rest of the story is different. It is based on a manga.
It's not bad although not very very good. I didn't care much for it. It is lacking something I can't really put my finger on. I guess I didn't really get attached to the characters and the story was with no surprises. Nothing really special about it
Overall one that I will forget I watched probably in a few months
(but if you're fan of anime, you might like it )
