Well deserved Golden Palm at the 2008 Cannes festival
It is a fiction but the actors are actually playing their own role: the students are really students and the teachers, really teachers in real life. It is realistic and could clearly have been a documentary, that is how good it is played! And it is a movie that invites you to think about the way school is as well as society. I thought it was very interesting!
