Where to start.... First, it is not really a musical but music has a major part in this movie, not a musical like we know it and that is probably the strengh of the movie, it is very realistic so when there is a song, they really are singing as part of the situation, they rehearse... In that sense, the movie has a new and original touch. It is also sweet and touching.
Now let's talk about the bad things: sometimes a bit pointless and too melo romantic. If you like impossible romance, this is your movie. But as you may have guessed already I'm not a big big fan of such movies in general so sometimes it bored me a little bit + you may really love the style of the music, a few songs I liked but it is always the same style so that bored me even more.... But that is just me, I suspect some of you on this forum will totally be in love with this movie while some of you will hate it (very very much) I could even tell who Overall, it is NOT as extraordinary as many people said, it has a little something different and special but it is not the music movie of a generation (please let it not be ) But, as said, I got touched in the end, so I guess it worked...

Impossible romance is my thing! So I think I will like it! I'll post!
