More a drama than a thriller so think it goes well here
Not bad at all this little scotish movie! a bit slow and minimalist at first but the acting is really good and the story keeps you wonder. I liked the atmosphere when sometimes there are no dialogues and no music for quite a long time, the emotions are even more powerfull. Clearly a bit influenced by Haneke. A good debut film yess
It won several well deserved prizes included the Jury Prize of Cannes Festival 2006
