| Lets see what i had in the last days... Dodesukaden (1970) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065649/Kind of what i expected - good characters. Jack Be Nimble (1993) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107242/I like Bruno Lawrence allot, and i have to find more psychic movies, i love that topic. Good story in this one. Jonas (1957) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050570/Hmm, i still don't know what to think of this one. Well done, good jazz soundtrack and a sort of German self-critic - but the director was soldier in WW2. Really strange director. However, besides Fassbinder, you can't find anything like it. Sobachye serdtse (1988) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0096126/Russia 1920ies + Communism + Surreal + nice cinematography + B-Movie Horror Story. Just great. The Story really could be from a Hammer Movie... Synecdoche New York "What happens if you forget how to be a child?!" good one Naboer (2005) Why did they explained everything in the end??? Too much finger pointing. Worked so hard to develop his character, just to destroy it in the end. Onna no mizuumi (1966) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060787/Wanted to see this one for a long time, and hell what a amazing cinematography. Yoshishige Yoshida is really recommended. Amai yoru no hate (1961) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0055799/Some good characters and good story about people from different "classes" Surveillance (2008) Hmm... hmmm hmmmm... sick but good... but very sick... but... good. | |

| Martyrs (2008) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1029234/Uhhfff, hart on the edge of what i can take. Overall i think it is indictment on today's violence, violence in war, torture in general. It's not what the story is telling, by my interpretation. It is good to see a horror movie that is not glorifying violence, is still making massive use of it and does not have the intention to shock the viewer. Superman II - Richard Donner Cut Haven't seen this in years, and without all the hype.. what a shitty movie. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (1978) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080391/Return of the Killer Tomatoes! (1988) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095989/George Clooney.. good lord... but hell what a fun to watch Xiao cheng zhi chun (1948) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0189219/Catching up with watching some movies from China, after i saw so many from the rest of Asia. It's wonderful to see how intimate you get the with the family after a while, the characters are very well done and it is good to see a love triangle from a old style Chinese point of view. It's missing a good ending.. feels like there was none at all. Real Women Have Curves (2002) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0296166/Some American HBO Movie where i hate the title, liked some scenes but are still pretty critical about it. It feels like cementing a "new/other" stereotype. Just because it's underrepresented, doesn't make it better. Also, there is zero critic on the male population, who plays a (major) role on how society looks at woman. Du levande (2007) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0445336/LOL Taiheiyo hitori-botchi (1963) aks Alone Across the Pacific http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057553/I like these outsiders story's, like "Naked". Nothing special from the movie making, solid work. | |

| Martyrs I heard so much about. I''m really happy to see more french horror latelly, there is kind of a new wave of them recently and they have something more than the average horror. I'm planning to see this one very soon Du Lavande, I just got the DVD. I saw latelly Songs from the Second Floor also from Roy Andersson. I expect it is as absurd as this one | |

| ok I'm also very lazy lately to make movie reviews so here is a small summary of what I have seen latelly The Boat That RockedFun movie, not brilliant but entertaining AntichristVisually stunning, every shot of this movie is gorgeous. Story wise, also good but not as brilliant as some people may say. Also not as shocking, apart from 2 or 3 close up, I was expected weirder. And about the controversy which says this movie is misogynist, it is stupid, it is not because a director represents a woman as evil that he thinks all women are evil and I think Lars von Trier showed in other movies his love for women more than one time... Mary and MaxGreat! what a fine, wonderful and moving little animation this is! A must see! Jack Ketchum's The Girl Next DoorNot bad, although a bit fade sometimes, the director manage to create a great tension. Sad to imagine this is a real story Who Are You, Polly Magoo?William Klein's movies are unic and original, this one is the most absurd movie I have seen from him so far. Impossible to summarize or fully understand it also unfortunately difficult to fully like it and get his point, shame. Still worth the discovery TimecrimesInteresting sci-fi/thriller flick. too bad the story doesn't make fully sense Je vais bien ne t'en fais pasBeautifull movie, and despite the fact that the story is a bit predictable, the emotions are all over the place, trully touching, sad and superb actors! Citizen Dogvery very nice, original, fresh and unic asian movie. A movie I will for sure watch again, lots of fun! Paranormal ActivityJust for the small budget and the success it has, it deserves credit. For the rest, yes I have been scared, these types of movie scare me. And come on, been scared while staring at a door for something to happen (the door moving mainly ) I have to say: WELL DONE! For the rest, it isn't original and the end was horrible, what on earth were they thinking... Withnail & IGood! fun movie with a little "Bottom" vibe (at least it made me think of it). But It is lacking a bit of rythm and overall, it could also have been funnier Tokyo!Nice! We can defenetly feel the Gondry vibe with these 3 shorts. I like the first and the last very much! The second not so much... | |
