This is one weird movie.
On the one hand, I really liked it, there are some cool trippy dream sequences and the atmosphere of the film is well taken care of. On the other hand, I found it to be a bit...boring, frankly...The movie only takes up speed about 3/4 through and the end is a bit obvious.
There is this guy having sessions with a psychiatrist, because his dreams alter reality. The psychiatrist uses the patient to solve what he sees as "the worlds main problems", these being war, overpopulation and racial differences. This doesn't turn out quite as expected though and as a result, every person in the world turns grey, three-quarter of the world's population dies of the plague and Earth is suddenly at war with an alien race of turtle-like creatures (this is later solved by dreaming that the aliens are a peaceful race).
All in all, the acting and cinematography are average, the story's a bit slow, but the effects are really cool if you like oldskool trippy effects and the dreamsequences are pretty much what keeps the film alive and well
A 6.5/10 I would say...
