Another great social, touching and engaged movie from Ken Loach, Raining Stones tells the story of a man who cannot afford to buy his daughter a First Communion dress, and makes disastrous choices in trying to raise the money. It has Similar style as his previous movie Riff-Raff: thick english accent, Northern england unemployed and underprivileged people, realistic dialogues and acting, funny sometimes and always true and sincere!
