I'm discovering Gus Van Sant, I really haven't seen much from this director yet.
This one is quite good although I prefered Elephant
The story is nice, the atmosphere is very particular: almost like you've just been smoking a joint and everything is just slow and melow but in a nice way Smile

I liked that a lot. The way he filmed the actors and their face expressions is also very nice, it's almost like you can hear them thinking. I also really enjoyed the music which is sometimes really unexpected for a story about skate kids.
Overall, it's one to watch imo even if the end is a bit despointing, it looks too much unfinished for my taste Wink

i loved elephant dunno why til now but im a bit scared to see this bcos ive been gettin extreme reviews and opinions abt this movie.should watch it soon i guess Very Happy

well, it is not as good as Elephant, that's for sure. But there is a little something which makes this movie nice: the atmopshere is nice
