The Seventh Continent
From Michael Haneke (Funny games, cache...)

IMDB

Quote :
Georg and his wife Anna realize how monotonous and isolated their life is when their daughter Eva, in a desperate attempt to get attention, suddenly pretends to be blind. The family decides to break with their trot and plan to emigrate to Australia

Ok, Just finished watching it and first I would like to say that it's been a long time I felt that way after watching a movie. I'm feeling weird, skin rushed and well, just weird....
I'm gona try not to give too much out of it cause I dont want to spoil the story, you're just gona have to watch it
First half is very slow, minimalist and repetitive but then you will realize that it has a point, strong, very deep, extremelly dark and psychologically very intense
The realism of this movie is absolutelly stunning, one of the most intense movie I have ever watched
Simply magnificient piece of art. This is why I love movies so much

And just for the feeling it gave me and that I still have right now....

note10

Note that this is NOT a feel good movie, you've been warned Wink
